Indian Restaurant Shakti Odawara

Indian Restaurant Shakti Odawara North Indian Restaurant

Overview

If you're in the mood for authentic Indian cuisine in the heart of Odawara, Indian Restaurant Shakti Odawara should be your next stop. Tucked away at 2 Chome-8-15 Sakaecho, Odawara, Kanagawa 250-0011, Japan, this charming diner has quickly earned a reputation for its deliciously rich flavors, warm ambiance, and impeccable service.

As soon as you step inside, the welcoming atmosphere makes you feel right at home. The staff greets you with a smile, and the aroma of freshly prepared spices fills the air, setting the stage for what promises to be a delightful culinary experience. Whether you're a fan of classic Indian dishes or looking to try something new, Indian Restaurant Shakti Odawara offers an extensive menu that caters to all tastes.

One of the standout features of the restaurant is its commitment to using high-quality ingredients, which is evident in every bite. The menu is full of flavorful options, from savory curries to freshly baked naan and perfectly spiced biryanis. If you're a fan of heat, their range of spicy dishes will certainly satisfy your craving. But if you prefer milder flavors, there are plenty of options that are just as rich and satisfying.

A personal favorite of mine is their Chicken Tikka Masala. The dish is a perfect balance of creaminess and spice, with tender pieces of chicken marinated in a blend of yogurt and Indian spices, then cooked in a rich tomato-based sauce. It's the kind of dish that has you reaching for more, even when you're already full. If you're dining with a group, the sharing platters are ideal for sampling a variety of dishes, making it easy to enjoy the full range of what the restaurant has to offer.

What makes Indian Restaurant Shakti Odawara stand out is not just the quality of the food but also the personalized experience. The chefs are always ready to adjust the spice levels based on your preference, ensuring every meal is customized just for you. If you're unsure of what to order, the friendly waitstaff is more than happy to recommend dishes based on your tastes.

For those with dietary restrictions or preferences, the restaurant is accommodating. Vegetarians will find a wide selection of flavorful options, like the popular Paneer Butter Masala and the hearty Dal Tadka. There are also gluten-free options available, so everyone can enjoy the rich tastes of Indian cuisine without worry.

The drink menu is equally impressive, featuring a range of refreshing lassis, traditional Indian teas, and an assortment of soft drinks. For something a bit stronger, they offer a variety of wines and beers that pair perfectly with the spicy dishes on the menu.

If you're looking to indulge in something sweet after your meal, don't skip their Gulab Jamun. These syrup-soaked, deep-fried dough balls are the perfect end to a satisfying meal. Pair it with a cup of Masala Chai, and you're in for a treat.

The location itself is another reason to visit. Situated in the lively area of Odawara, it’s easily accessible for locals and tourists alike. The area offers a glimpse of traditional Japanese culture, but stepping into Indian Restaurant Shakti Odawara provides a delightful mix of cultural experiences with its vibrant and flavorful Indian menu.

When it comes to value, the restaurant doesn’t disappoint. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality and portions of the food. Whether you’re looking for a casual meal with friends or a more intimate dining experience, this restaurant offers a great balance of quality and affordability.

It's no surprise that Indian Restaurant Shakti Odawara has garnered a loyal following in Odawara. With its inviting atmosphere, excellent service, and mouthwatering food, it’s a must-visit for anyone in the area craving authentic Indian dishes. Whether you're a local or just passing through, make sure to stop by for a meal that’s sure to leave a lasting impression.

The food was fresh and delicious. The noodles were excellent, and we were also able to get tawa rotis. A great place for pure vegetarians.

We had our dinner there after a long day at Hakone. Even though we stayed at Hakone Yumoto, we decided to make the trip to Odawara Station to try the food. Didnt regret it. It was a great place to have a meal. The food was tasty. We ordered the set dinner meal. The portions and taste was quite good. It was overall, a very satisfying meal for us. We would recommend those looking for halal food to visit the place.

When you don't eat for the whole day to travel around hakone, I could not ask for anything better. The biryani set was great. Served fresh and hot. For Muslims, tho they claim it's halal but it's not certified by any means. Also I don't think the staffs/owner are Muslims too. So eat at your own discretion.

Great Nepalese food at reasonable price. We had 2 set Thalia with curries and naan. Portion size was good and service was prompt.

Halal friendly restaurant.. checked on the source of ingredients to ensure their claim. Menu is extensive for Indian food lovers. It has been our saviour in Hakone since it’s difficult to find a halal restaurant around. We tried different dishes during our stay.. which included the set meals, soups, a la carte meals & few sides. Service is excellent.. staff is courteous.. cosy & convenient.. Located near Odawara station besides Don Don Ki.. Recommended!!!
